Yes, all Scorpion members have both retrenchment and disability benefits in the form of a 12-month premium waiver (a benefit that means you don’t have to pay your premiums). If the main member can prove that he/she has been retrenched or declared temporarily or permanently disabled, Scorpion will step in and pay your premiums for 12 months from the date of being retrenched or becoming temporarily/permanently disabled. This means that you will still receive legal cover for 12 months without you having to worry about paying your premiums.
