Nokuthula Sebata-Vundla, Scorpion Legal Counsellor at our new Cape Town CBD branch, has already been hard at work helping members with their legal problems.
A Scorpion policyholder named Mbali* was having trouble with the well-known furniture store from which she had bought a couch set.
The couches were sagging in the middle and even though they were barely six months old, the furniture store refused to fix them or give her a replacement couch set.
Luckily Mbali is a Scorpion member and after she spoke to Nokuthula about her problem, Nokuthula took her to the furniture store to have a stern conversation with the manager. Now Mbali has a new set of couches to relax on, all thanks to Scorpion!
